Several Studies Have Proven Methods Using Reward Based Training To Have The Most Reliable Effect With Behavior Adjustment By Creating A Working Relationship With A Foundation Of Trust Between Dog And Handler. Fostering A Positive Association With Situations And Building Confidence In A Reactive, Fearful Or Aggressive Dog Results In A Pet That Will Be Calmer, And More Reliable In Public Settings.
We offer modification for all forms of aggressive behavior including:
-Leash Reactivity , Fear aggression , Territorial aggression , Dominant aggression, Food aggression, Health-related aggression, Redirected aggression (dog turns and bites you) , Resource guarding, Play aggression.
Daily Training: Behavior Modification Program
This is a 3 week (15 day) program. You bring your dog in to our center every day Monday through Friday for 2 hours of intensive training. Every day your dog is with us will focus on the skills they need to support them during the process of changing unwanted behaviors. We focus on teaching your pet the coping skills, relaxations techniques and alternative behaviors we use to replace unwanted behaviors to useful, positive skills. Behavior change only happens when your dog feels safe and emotionally supported. We will take the time to build a relationship of trust with your dog before any training can begin.
Training begins at our facility in Evergreen, Colorado. The first three to five days will be spent teaching foundation skills like, Place, Settle, Engagement with their handler, Leave it cue, Loose leash walking, and the “Touch” cue. After that, your pet will accompany their trainer to public spaces and be exposed to a variety of situations where they will use their new foundations skills to build acceptable, positive behaviors. It is our job as your dog’s handler to keep them safe in all situations.
Our 3 week (15 day) Daily Training: Behavior Modification Program starts at $2800, additional weeks can be added if necessary.
Included with this program is 4 private lessons, a properly fitted harness, and 12 ft leash.

Boarding with Training Behavior Modification
This exclusive program starts with 3 weeks minimum (21 days). Your dog will stay with us in our home, and to ensure they get our full attention and the best care, we only take one dog at a time. You dog will have their own clean and comfortable space where they will sleep and have their meals. In the evenings, after a long day of training, dogs who are comfortable with other dogs will be introduced to our personal dogs, and spend time in the main living spaces with us. For those dogs who need more space and one on one time, they will spend quality time with their trainer in our apartment, cuddling, playing and watching TV.
While in our home we will focus on the skills your pet needs to help them overcome unwanted behaviors. Our methods include teaching your dog valuable coping skills. We will put these skills to use in a variety of situations while supporting your dog emotionally and mentally. Behavior change only happens when your dog feels safe. We create a low stress learning environment so your dog can focus on replacing unwanted behaviors with acceptable actions. Our methods focus on emotional support, and teaching alternative behaviors by building the foundation skills you pet needs to be comfortable and well behaved in social situations.
Our 3 week (21 day) boarding and learning program starts at $4500.
Included with this program is 4 private lessons, a properly fitted harness and 12 ft leash.
